What is Ladies Rock Camp?

If you’ve ever wanted to be in a band, wanted to learn an instrument, improve the skills you already have, or if you like being creative with other other adventurous people, then Ladies Rock Camp is for you. NO MUSICAL EXPERIENCE NECESSARY — just a desire to rock!

Ladies Rock Camp is Girls Rock Camp for campers ages 19 and up, compressed into a 3-day weekend. Just like GRC, no musical experience is required. Campers receive instruction on bass, keyboard, guitar, drums or vocals, write a song with the guidance of our amazing staff and rock out on Sunday night to a room full of screaming fans.

In one exciting weekend, campers receive:

  • Instrument instructions

  • Songwriting lesson

  • Band practice

  • Workshops

  • All the hard work leads to a fun final showcase concert!

Tuition is $350 for Camp. Financial Aid is available! Use the code FINANCIALAID when registering for camp.

FAQs

  • We offer guitar, bass, drum, keyboard and vocal instruction. All experience levels are welcome. Instruction is held in small groups and led by experienced, enthusiastic musicians.

  • Participants form bands on the first day and spend the weekend collaborating to write an original song.

    Workshops are offered on a variety of topics.

  • On Sunday at 7 p.m. at a local venue, the bands perform their songs!

    Steps to apply for Ladies Rock Camp Financial Aid

    1- Register for Ladies Rock Camp Madison. You must do this to make sure a space is available. APPLYING FOR FINANCIAL AID DOES NOT REGISTER YOU FOR CAMP. Registration is on a first come, first served basis.

    2- On the Review Cart & Check Out page, enter FINANCIALAIDLRC in the Coupon code section and click Apply. This will bypass the required down payment so you can register and ensure a space. Continue through the rest of the registration all the way through until you see the Thank You! Your Transaction is Complete message.

    The FINANCIALAIDLRC code will bypass the required down payment.

    3- Your next step is to apply for financial aid. Click here to fill out the application.

    4- Check your email! You will receive a response within 1 week of applying for financial aid.
